I’m in hotels a lot for business, and it’s always a pleasure to come across a little gem like this. The old house is gorgeous, the room was lovely, and breakfast was great. I felt well looked after from the welcome right through to leaving. Thanks again, guys, highly recommended.

The room was smaller than I expected, and the bathroom felt pretty dated, very 90s. It’s quite a nice hotel and interesting historically as England’s oldest, but I don’t think it’s worth what you pay.

I was away from home for work for one night. It’s a lovely house in a gorgeous setting, and my room was comfortable and quiet. India was a top host, and breakfast was fab. Definitely worth a visit.

India couldn’t do enough for me and my partner, even arranging an early arrival. The surroundings are lovely, and the beds were comfy. She was a great host.
