The sea view from our room was lovely, and the room itself was exceptional. Jason welcomed us warmly and gave us ideas for things to see and do in Lyme Regis. We had a fabulous night here, enjoyed the breakfast choices and appreciated the personal touches. We'd definitely recommend this B&B.

The four course breakfast, made with local produce, was a wonderful start to the day, especially if you're a foodie. Dorset House also has a great set of recommendations for places to eat in Lyme Regis, from cafes to top end restaurants, as well as some amazing walks. We had an amazing long weekend. Lyn and Jason made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and the beautiful decor and little personal touches made it feel special. Our names were on the room door and on the breakfast menu. Can't wait to come back. Thank you x

We've stayed in plenty of places, but we can't remember enjoying a breakfast more. Jason welcomed us warmly and immediately put us at ease when we arrived at Dorset House at the beginning of May. On our first evening we had a great pizza and a couple of beers at their seafront restaurant. Dorset House had unexpectedly given us a £50 voucher on arrival, which was lovely, and the staff there were lovely too. We'd happily stay again on a future trip to Dorset.

Jas and Lyn were lovely hosts, and we'd love to visit again. With only five rooms, the place has a cosy feel. We stayed in the Church view room, which had a lovely view with a glimpse of the sea and a comfy bed. The bathroom was small, but had a lovely big shower. Breakfast was exceptional, with plenty of food and homemade, seasonal additions to choose from on the menu. The buffet had been removed due to covid measures. We even had toast and marmalade breakfast gelato before our breakfast was served.

We were very pleased with our last minute find after our holiday plans changed and we spent hours searching hotels and Airbnb. The room was so relaxing, the owners were the sweetest, and the view was breathtaking. It was worth every penny. The real treat was breakfast, one of the best I've ever had. We'd seen several places name it Best Breakfast in the UK, and they absolutely deserve that award. Highly recommend!
