The gardens were beautiful, and we loved having the pool to swim and sunbathe in. It almost felt like being abroad. Our room, the Anning, was spacious and lovely, with a comfortable bed, great view and wonderful shower. Breakfast was delicious, and the whole venue was stunning and immaculately clean. The hosts were amazing and happy to help with anything. It’s adults only, very romantic, and so relaxing, much nicer than a big impersonal hotel. There’s a short walk to the beach, restaurants and lovely views. We’ve just come back from two amazing days at this fabulous bed and breakfast, and we’ll definitely return. Thank you, we can’t wait to come again!

Getting from the car park to the door involves an uphill walk and steps around the property, so it may not suit older guests or anyone with mobility issues. Lyme Regis is hilly away from the seafront, though, and many places are like this. Fiona and Jon were very helpful, with excellent local knowledge, and clearly work hard to give guests a wonderful stay. Their guest house was bright, airy and spotlessly clean, with excellent facilities, a well-kept outdoor pool, lovely garden and views, and safe parking. The breakfast room was lovely, and breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent, with good alternatives. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and nice, and the coffee machine was easy to use. We had a memorable weekend for our anniversary and would gladly recommend St Andrews House. We hope to return.

We spent four nights there in early October and had a brilliant stay. Fi and John were wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us. The location was great, and breakfast was superb, with everything you could wish for. We also really enjoyed the pool area and gardens. Highly recommended. Best wishes, Peter & Jackie.

The only drawback is access for anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise, it’s a great B&B with lovely hosts and rooms. Everything was very clean, there were plenty of tea and coffee supplies in the room, and you could get more if needed. The full English breakfast was great.

An electric car charging point on site was a real help and saved us hassle, especially in a seaside resort. We had two lovely nights at St Andrew's House, in a really nice top-floor room with a large, beautifully decorated and fitted bathroom. Fiona and Jon were brilliant hosts, nothing was too much trouble, and they made our time in Lyme Regis a delight. Thanks again.
