A lovely little spot, whether you're staying overnight or just dropping in for a drink. The staff are friendly, our room was lovely, and the balcony was almost as large as the room, with a wonderful view. Really great.

This is a friendly classic pub where children and dogs are welcome, and there's a good choice of drinks. It's up a hill and has no parking, but it's easily the best local place to watch sport. There are different seating options and screens, including bench seating in a covered area with a screen to keep out the rain. Downstairs you'll find a pool table and clean toilets.

We spent the night in a clean, very nice room with a great bed. The pub had sport on, then played some great music after the darts finished. It was a good mix of people, with none of that awkward hush. Perfect!

The balcony view was amazing, and waking up to a sunny, beautiful morning was a treat. Our room was clean, comfortable and amazing. Dan in the pub was friendly and welcoming, and looked after us well. There's easy, free parking just up the hill. I'd totally recommend it and stay again.

The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, with a local feel. They had nice Otter beer on tap, which was handy for us since the hotel where we were staying didn't serve real ale.
