The hosts were excellent, and the cottage is in a fabulous spot. We came back for a second stay and Plover Cottage was just as comfortable and lovely as before. It’s genuinely dog friendly too. We’d happily recommend it.

The cottage was clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and parking right beside it. The main difficulty is the layout: the staircase is very narrow, and there are changes in floor level downstairs. That could be tricky for someone with a disability or for young toddlers.

Milford on sea is lovely, and from this clean, comfortable cottage it’s easy to get to the New Forest and its towns. It’s dog friendly too. We had a great stay and can’t recommend it enough. We’ll be back later in the year.

Plover Cottage was beautiful, fresh and clean. We stayed with Alfie the dog, found plenty to do, and will definitely come back.
