The staff were so professional, caring, helpful and cheerful, and couldn't do enough for us. The food was tasty English cooking, a pleasure to eat, rather than the continental dishes smothered in sauces that so many hotels seem to serve nowadays. The Hotel was very clean and well organised, with a good old family atmosphere like hotels used to have. It came highly recommended, and everything was beyond my expectations. Thanks and appreciation to everyone. We look forward to coming back very soon.

We had an excellent weekend on a 2 night dance break. The meals were excellent and served very efficiently. The dance floor was a good, reasonable size. Our bedroom was small but well equipped, had good lighting and was warm.

Even with the hotel full, service was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the home-cooked food was well prepared with a different choice each day. An excellent hotel.

I've stayed here several times, in different rooms, and each one has been warm, clean, comfortable, and well kept. The familiar staff are welcoming and helpful every visit, which says a lot about the management and how happy the team seems. The food is delicious, nicely presented, and there’s something for everyone. Parking has never been a problem for me. I also used the local buses once to get around. Happy to recommend it, and I’ve already booked two more stays.

Our room was spacious and superbly equipped. The hotel is spotless, in a great location, and the breakfasts were great. They also offer lots of food options, from packed breakfasts or lunches to afternoon tea, lunch, and evening meals. Really friendly too.
