Inn On The Prom Hotel

I was working in town and stayed for a week. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Jack was especially helpful, as was the woman at the front desk, though I can't remember her name, she had brown hair. I'd recommend staying here.

The food was tasty and nicely presented, and the lounge bar was comfortable and pretty. The entertainment was very good, and the pool was a good size, with a steam room and gym available. My bedroom was small but adequate. The radiator wasn't getting hot, but they sorted it the next day. The hotel's offers are good value, and I had a lovely weekend. I'll be back soon.

The location is good and the pool itself was clean and decent, but at around £160 a night I expected more. The Inn on the Prom in St Annes looks tidy at first, yet the room feels decades old. The decor is dated, the carpet worn and the furniture old. The bathroom is worse, with grubby tiles and a tired shower curtain. It wasn't exactly dirty, but it's clearly past its best and needs some care. Staff were polite enough, but didn't seem very engaged. When you asked for something, you'd get a nod without much follow-through. The pool changing area also felt neglected, with cracked flooring and lockers falling apart. I'd give it three out of five. It's no disaster, and the location and pool are good, but the dated room, poor bathroom and indifferent service made it hard to feel the price was justified. I wouldn't rush back, though you'd get by if you needed to.

The hotel is beautiful, and the room was excellent. The staff were fantastic, and breakfast was great. Some areas feel a little tired, but the location is really good.
