The Glendower Hotel

Our family had a fantastic afternoon tea at The Glendower. The staff kept checking in and were attentive without hovering, and there was plenty of tea and coffee. We had a private room for 14, with plenty of space for everyone and room for the kids to play without bothering other guests. Warm scones, fresh sandwiches and a lovely range of cakes and patisseries made it a wonderful afternoon for the whole family. Thanks to the team!

We booked for the spring bank holiday in 2026, and I’d most definitely stay again. The cleaners are fantastic, and the hotel was beautifully clean throughout, with lovely decor and atmosphere. Thank you for keeping the place so welcoming. I can’t recommend it enough. Carolyn and Laura.

The staff made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Tina at reception was wonderful, always ready for a bit of banter and full of ideas for places to go. Gary from maintenance also stepped in with a smile when my friend and I were struggling with our bags, helping us get them to the lift. The bar staff were always smiling and up for a giggle. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, but the food looked and smelled divine. The hotel itself was lovely inside and out, far enough from Blackpool’s busy strip while still close enough to visit. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it.

The team helped us choose the menus and decor and worked so hard to make our wedding day special. From beginning to end, everyone was attentive and professional, and their support meant a lot to us. We’d highly recommend the venue for an occasion you want to remember. A huge thank you to the Glendower team, especially Sophie & Hayley for adding such a personal touch to our day.
