The Woodlands

The location felt quiet and private, but the beach was still close enough to walk to. Breakfast was excellent, and we left feeling rested. Our bright, spacious, clean room worked perfectly for two adults, two kids and a dog. Rosie and Daryl greeted us warmly when we arrived for an overnight stay to celebrate Dwight's 3rd birthday. We'd recommend staying here and hope to come back. Thanks, see you soon.

A doggy sausage at breakfast was a nice touch, and dogs are welcome. The breakfast request form is a clever idea too, so you can choose what you'd like and a time that suits you within the available range. The room was spotless, with a comfortable bed and great pillows, and we got a very friendly welcome. The Woodlands Hotel is tucked away somewhere peaceful, yet shops, restaurants and the beach are an easy walk. What a gem. I'll definitely return.

We could walk to the local beach or into town for a pint or something to eat, and there was plenty of parking on site. Our room was a great size, immaculate and well presented, with tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast had lots to choose from and was cooked perfectly. The lovely hosts made us and Charley the Dog feel welcome from the first minute of our four-night stay. We'd happily give this lovely hotel six stars if we could. Chris & Rachel.

The hosts were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast had loads of choice. We had a great room at this lovely little B&B in a beautiful location. Recommended!
