It’s a peaceful site and we enjoyed our stay. Just a small gripe with the caravan: you have to look through the oven glass to see the flame setting, so it’d be easier if the oven and hob/grill dials were different types.
The van was clean, comfortable and well laid out, with plenty of pots and cutlery. The location’s great and we’d definitely return. The kitchen could do with a proper oven dish and a tray big enough for a pizza, though. I also couldn’t figure out how to switch on the towel rails, and some instructions for the heating would’ve helped.
There aren’t many facilities, which suits me fine. It’s a peaceful site and still close enough to the centre of Mablethorpe.
The caravan was lovely, clean and comfortable. The site was tidy and quiet, and there was a nice pub serving food with entertainment.
The first day was a nightmare, and I’ll be leaving in the morning. We had to call security twice. They’re lovely, but aren’t on site and took about half an hour to arrive. First there was a family argument that went on for just over an hour, with a distressed baby screaming and everyone nearby upset. Later, loud gaming carried on until 1 a.m. Security could only hear the TV when they came, and the noise stopped after we called. The walls are paper thin and the caravans are packed close together, with lounges facing bedrooms, so noisy neighbours can ruin your stay. There was also an ambulance on site at 1 a.m. with lots of noise. The park is miles from the beach and anything else, so expect a long walk. I wouldn’t recommend it. There are much better parks in the area.
