The cakes, scones and sandwiches were excellent, and the staff were attentive throughout. It’s a beautiful place. I was there for a funeral, unfortunately, but everything was great. I was very impressed and would definitely come back to try some meals.

Marlin Court isn't a hotel anymore, it's a care home for the elderly where my dear grandmother lives now. The staff are absolutely fantastic!

The staff were cheerful and really helpful, even arranging an early cooked breakfast for us. The food was great value, and we had a comfortable bed in a good sized room with a sea view. I hadn't been here for years, but I'm looking forward to coming back.

The room was fabulous, with a lovely view of the sea, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They were happy to change the breakfast to suit, though the breakfast itself could have been better. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. I'll definitely stay again.

We enjoyed a delicious three course dinner, especially the lovely steaks, and both had peat smoked haddock with poached eggs at breakfast. The food was high quality and attractively served, and every member of staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our Ailsa Suite was very comfortable, though if we'd stayed longer I probably would have rearranged the lounge furniture. The hotel seemed to be part of a larger complex with retirement units, and I think some residents used the dining room. I'd be happy to return.
