Premier Inn Maidstone Town Centre

I ended up staying here for three months while working away from home, and the staff made a real difference to how enjoyable it was. Charlene and her team gave great service at all hours, whether it was 2pm or 2am. Domi was especially lovely to deal with, always smiling and going the extra mile where possible. Reece, Grace, Luke and Richard deserve a mention too. I was in around six different rooms, both Double and Plus. They had the usual comfy Premier Inn beds, good lighting and clean bathrooms, so you know what you're getting. Breakfast was good and dinner was fine, with the standard Premier Inn menu. When I had awkward shifts, the staff were accommodating and would prepare and store dinner for me until I got back. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely stay here.

The room was comfortable, spacious and well soundproofed, and all the staff were helpful. A special thank you to Charlene at breakfast. She noticed it was my daughter's birthday and made an effort to find some presents for her. Thank you so much!

The parking fine was the last straw after an awful stay. Nobody had told us about the parking charge, and when I asked for help, manager Charlene blamed me for not complaining sooner and for not being given a door card. We couldn't get breakfast or order drinks, and the air conditioning wasn't working properly. We also had hot and cold sweats. Charlene was rude and unhelpful, and there was no real customer service. I hadn't complained before the fine, but I was angry about how everything was handled. She wouldn't give me her name when I asked politely, then hung up on me. I told them I had camera proof of the problems, but they didn't care or offer any reimbursement. Charlene seemed too busy being nosey to care that we'd been fined or were having a bad stay. I'll never stay at Premier Inn again.

The staff made this hotel the best part of our week-long London trip. My girlfriend and I stayed in room 120 over the Christmas holidays to see the Back to The Future Musical, and everyone was great, though I didn't get any names. We had to catch our plane, so sadly we couldn't say goodbye. The food tasted good too, even if it was pricey, as hotel food tends to be.
