So much to take in at once, but really interesting.

I didn’t find the view especially interesting, and you have to walk closer to get to the cove. There were lots of people with dogs, and as a result there was quite a bit of dog mess around. 👎

There’s a lot to learn here, and it’s laid out brilliantly. The place is small, so you won’t need long to take in the history, but the displays are very educational. It sits tucked beside a working farm and is easy to miss. Once inside, it feels like stepping back into the way people used to live and work. Pop in as you walk past, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

There are a few useful wall displays and old farming tools with descriptions at this National Trust site. It’s a preserved bard, and if you’re walking the Malham cove loop, it’s worth stopping for five minutes. I wouldn’t make a special trip just for it.
