Ashbury Bed and Breakfast

The breakfast was delicious and set us up nicely for the day. We also enjoyed walking into Great Malvern for dinner, with plenty of places to eat and drink there. Karen and Graham made us feel welcome with tea and homemade cake when we arrived. The Victorian B&B is beautifully furnished, and our bedroom was spotless, with a well-equipped en-suite. We only stayed two nights, but could easily have spent a week and would love to return. The room was quiet, clean and very comfortable, and with only three rooms available, Ashbury B & B has a friendly, home-from-home feel. Graham and Karen gave us a wonderfully warm welcome. The house is beautiful, with a great breakfast and a utility room for washing. It’s about a 20-minute walk from town.

I've been coming back for about five years to visit family, and Ashbury B & B feels like my second home. Karen and Graham are warm, friendly people. Their old Victorian house is in a quiet part of Malvern, and the rooms are tastefully furnished and very clean. Breakfast has lots of choice, and Karen's homemade bread is delicious.

After we'd settled in, the owners invited us for tea and a slice of lemon drizzle cake on the decking, with views towards Worcester. They also let us arrive early so we could spend our first day cycling in the Malvern Hills, and store our bikes in their garage. The house has fitting period furniture and sits right on the edge of Malvern. There’s a 14% climb just 200 metres away, or you can head downhill into town, keeping in mind the ride back is uphill. Our hosts were a lovely, chatty couple with plenty of local knowledge and food recommendations. Breakfast was cooked to order and very filling. They explained the current covid rules with a warm smile when we arrived. No surprise they’ve won so many local awards, and I’d highly recommend a stay.
