The Wyche Inn was an amazing find for a weekend away. We arrived Friday and had delicious fish and chips and The Wyche burger, both fantastic. Pam showed us to our flat, which had everything we needed for self-catering, plus a thoughtful welcome in the fridge: bread, butter, milk and orange juice. The bed and linen were really comfortable, and we had two fabulous nights' sleep. It's very dog friendly. Our cocker spaniel, Lola, became great friends with the pub's resident puppy, St. Bernard Angus. For walkers and cyclists, the location is perfect, with easy access to the beacon route. After walking up the beacon on Sunday, we came back for Dave's Sunday lunch, which was belly-bustingly delicious. Pam, Dave and the rest of the staff are awesome hosts. We've already booked for October and highly recommend the Wyche Inn.

The turkey Christmas dinner was absolutely delicious, cooked just right and served in a very generous portion. It was hot, unlike meals that are all too often cold. The service was good, and my friends from the walking group were well looked after. Excellent value for money. I can't wait to go again.

There are plenty of good walks close by, and the rooms look out over fantastic views. They also have loads of information for walkers. We arrived late but they still fed us after food service had stopped. Come hungry, the portions are proper man size.

It was very quiet when we arrived for a lunchtime drink, and the welcome wasn't especially warm. After seeing the food come out, we decided not to order. Maybe it feels more welcoming when it's busier, but unfortunately I wouldn't be in a hurry to go back.

After walking in the Malvern Hills, we stopped at this pub for a pint and something to eat. The atmosphere was lovely and warm, the staff really friendly, and dogs are welcome too. A must if you're walking the hills.
