The location worked well, and the staff were polite. The room was okay, though there was no view from the window. A loud bathroom vent ran the whole time and couldn’t be switched off. Breakfast had plenty of options, but the hot food seemed days old. The cold items seemed questionable too, though at least they were digestible, and the juices tasted artificial. I’d skip it.

The room was good value and the hotel is right in the centre, so the stay itself was fine. The problem came afterward: I’ve been waiting over a week for a fairly simple invoice request to be sorted. I contacted customer service directly, but there’s still been no progress.

Being close to the station made getting around easy, and the hotel was efficient for our one night in Manchester. The room was comfortable enough and practical, if nothing special. Breakfast was standard and did the job. A solid short-stay option.

Everyone we dealt with was lovely, helpful and friendly, and the room was clean enough for a single night after a few hours of travel. It was a bit dark, though. The real problem was the cold: the heating barely worked and we were awake for much of the night. I wouldn’t come back unless it was summer.
