Park Crescent Hotel

The place was spotless, comfortable, and looked recently refurbished. Before coming, I'd read a few negative reviews, but I didn't encounter any of those problems. Everything felt well looked after, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The staff were professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The location was perfect, with what you need just around the corner. Honestly, this is the best hotel I've stayed in. I couldn't find a fault, and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely stay. It's disappointing that some unfair reviews don't reflect what the hotel is actually like.

We booked two rooms at Park Crescent Hotel in Manchester, and the first impression was already awful. There were flies in the rooms, the sheets were stained and smelled bad, and cleanliness clearly wasn't a priority. Reception said the hotel was full and wouldn't move us. When we asked for our money back, they first refused, saying one room had already had a shower used. After we said we'd contact the police, they refunded only part of the cost: £150 for one room and £75 for the other. They even suggested we stay the night in those conditions at half price while they tried to change the rooms later. That was insulting. This was one of our worst hotel experiences. The dirty rooms, poor service, and refusal to take responsibility were appalling. I strongly wouldn't recommend it. Save yourself the stress and stay somewhere else.

There wasn't a parking space for me, and I wasn't even allowed to drink my coffee in the lobby. They sent me to the dining area, where the tables were sticky and covered in crumbs. The room was dirty too, with a clogged sink and a broken toilet flush button. Staff were unfriendly and no help. I wouldn't recommend Park Crescent Hotel.

The staff were warm and attentive, and the location worked really well. The hotel has recently been refurbished, and you can tell: reception and the rooms both feel new. It was clean throughout, with a modern but cozy design. Great quality for the price. I'd definitely stay again.
