The location made exploring easy, right by the Northern Quarter and close to the shops. It’s also very accessible for disabled guests, with staff who genuinely care and are happy to help. For the comfort and service, I think it’s amazing value, and it’s become my regular hotel in Manchester. I stayed over Christmas, and it was perfect. The rooms are modern, beautiful, and spotless. Christmas dinner was delicious, and the complimentary breakfast on Christmas Day was such a thoughtful touch. Everyone was lovely from the start, especially Harry, who went above and beyond to make me feel looked after. I really can’t praise the Abel Heywood Hotel enough. Highly recommended!

We had the upstairs room for a 40th birthday gathering. The food was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful, so I’d recommend it. The bouncer got a bit strict toward the end of the night for no reason and didn’t seem to want anyone having sensible fun. Thank you.

I stopped in for a quick bite and found a great little place for food, drinks, and a good chat. It has rooms too, but I didn’t need to stay. Highly recommend.

The room was clean and comfortable, just right for an overnight stay. The drinks were reasonably priced, and as someone who likes real ale, I was pleased with the good selection. The food was very good too, especially breakfast. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and I’d happily recommend staying here. It’s a fantastic hotel in the heart of the northern quarter, especially if you’re driving since the car park is directly opposite.

We came in for a much-needed dinner after exploring the city and really enjoyed it. There’s a varied menu with something for everyone, good prices, and generous portions. My vegan pie was delicious, and you don’t find that everywhere. The waiters were attentive and the service was very quick. I can’t recommend it enough for dinner.
