Blue Horizon

The hosts were so warm and friendly, and gave us great suggestions for places to eat and visit. Breakfast was lovely, and everything was clean. Blue Horizon is one of the best places I’ve stayed, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Paul and Judith made us feel completely at home, and we’d definitely like to return. We stayed in the lovely boat house, which had a cosy feel; with the patio doors open, we could hear the Atlantic Ocean lapping against the rocky shore. The B&B is in the quaint town of Marazion, with stunning views over St Michaels mount and Penzance bay.

We only stayed one night, but the hosts were lovely and the bungalow had a stunning sea view. It’s self-contained, with a double bed, lounge, shower and toilet, and all the facilities of home. The location was great for coastal walks and getting to Marizion beach. Breakfast was fine, with cereal, tea and coffee, toast, fruit, cheese, cold cuts and eggs cooked however you like. Everything was clean and tidy, and there’s parking.

After a day walking the Marizion coastline, it was lovely to relax in the hot tub. The guest house is right in the heart of cornwall, with local shops and pubs nearby and superb views. Judith and Paul were friendly, welcoming hosts who gave us great advice on places to see. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, with en suites. The house itself is great, and breakfast in the beautiful dining area was a fantastic full English cooked on the arga. We’ll be back for sure.
