We had a brilliant two-night stay last weekend. The decor throughout was lovely, the atmosphere was good, the staff were friendly, and the downstairs bar was nice, though noisy until after midnight. It’s in a great spot near the beach. The doors to the bedrooms were very heavy and had to be slammed shut. On our first night, an unknown man came into our room twice within five minutes, at around 1:30am. That was creepy and really scary. He left soon after we asked what he was doing. The bed was uncomfortable because it was two singles pushed together, with a gap in the middle. Breakfast was beautiful each morning, with great vegetarian options.

Being there while my partner worked with some amazing artists in the Albion Rooms recording studio was a wonderful experience, even if some of it went over my head. The sound engineer, drummer and photographer were all friendly and hardworking, and worked at my partner’s pace. Everyone we dealt with at The Albion Rooms, from reception and the bar to the kitchen and cleaning staff, was accommodating, friendly and professional. They seemed keen to make sure visitors had a great time. The place itself is fun and quirky, and very clean. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

We celebrated our anniversary here in November, and the staff were phenomenal throughout. We were given a free upgrade, and breakfast was amazing too. Highly recommend!

We stopped in for drinks over the bank holidays. It’s a lovely, clean place, with original decor that’s well maintained and memorabilia from the era. The cocktails and music were great, the patio garden was nice, and the staff were friendly.

The meal was great, with nice food and lovely staff. It did take a while to arrive, but the atmosphere made the wait easier. We’d hoped to book a room too, but they were already full. We’d try booking again.
