The bed was decent and I slept okay, but the low price is about the only real upside. Check-in is tightly limited, with no access before 5pm. The shower kept swinging from scalding to freezing, and the pressure wasn't very good on the second floor, at least.

We got good value for money and would stay again. The room was basic, with no frills, but had a sea view, and the large kitchen was clean and well equipped. It's right on the seafront and only a short walk from the train station.

The staff, Susan and John, were nice, but I wouldn't recommend staying here. There was no breakfast, no TV in the family room, and the bath was tiny. A waste of money.

A good spot in Margate if you're watching your budget and plan to be out exploring all day. The accommodation is nice and cheap, and the location works well.
