Paul was friendly, gave us some good recommendations, then left us to enjoy our weekend. The teas and coffees in the room were a nice touch, the TV was good for watching when we got back in the evening, and the Wi-Fi was fast enough for everything we needed. We stayed in the courtyard room and slept really well. It was surprisingly quiet at night, despite the brilliant location, just 30 seconds from the beach and the main tourist attractions. Had an excellent stay this weekend.

We stayed in the apartment with the outside terrace, and couldn’t fault it. The location, cleanliness and style were all lovely, and Paul, the owner, was a lovely, accommodating feller. We’ll be back.

Paul was amazing, and we had the best weekend in Margate. The hotel is beautiful and in a prime location. Thanks for making our first visit to Margate so lovely. The jukebox was ace!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Beetroot hotel. The room was lovely, large and spacious, and the location right in the centre of town was super. Paul was helpful and gave us room to ourselves. Would recommend.

The courtyard was a peaceful spot to sit outside and enjoy the weather, and the room itself was relaxing. It was spotless and had everything we needed, more like a compact self-contained apartment than just a room. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the shower felt luxurious, and the room was finished to a high standard, with mood lighting and a TV at the foot of the bed. The Beetroot is in a quiet spot right in the heart of Old Town, with the beautiful beach a minute away and friendly bars, restaurants and shops close by. Paul was a fantastic host, friendly, calm and professional, with years of experience in the area. He helped make our two-night stay memorable. We’ll be back!
