I've been on retreat here for the last few days, and it's helped me recharge and refocus on Jesus. The beautiful venue and the warm welcome from Josephine and her team made a real difference. Chef Lee deserves a shout out for turning quality ingredients into creative, exciting, flavourful meals. Rory and the dining room team made sure we were comfortable, and Stewart handled all our requests with a warm smile. It was a pleasure being looked after by you all. The old building has friendly, helpful staff and great food. Some parts may be tricky if you're a wheelchair user, like the sharp turn from the top of the ramp into the large 'accessible' room and the narrow corridors. Most ambulant people probably wouldn't notice. Looking forward to seeing upgrades introduced gradually when feasible.

The room for me and my family was massive, and we loved the food, staff and surroundings. I came with my church and had a wonderful stay. The peaceful setting added to the spiritual encounters we had there. We'd really like to come back, it's a place to be.

The discounted weekend package was good, and the food was delicious every time. The bedrooms were beautiful and super clean. Highgate House was good overall, though the conference room facilities could have been better. We had to call staff over several times because of sound and podium stand technical issues, which affected our start time. There was no roving mic, so our pastors couldn't move around freely. We'd been led to believe cakes and biscuits would be available without limit through the day, but that wasn't the case.

I enjoyed my visit to Highgate House very much. It's a Christian Conference Centre where everyone seems welcome. The food and beds were excellent, and the coffee machines were always available. The bathroom was small, but did the job.
