The prices were reasonable, and there was a good choice of food, all really well made. They had good beer too. It felt relaxed and informal, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I'd happily go back.

The beer was excellent, and dessert was a real treat: marmalade sponge and custard that was deliciously moreish. We had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Bull, with dishes that were beautifully cooked and presented.

That big fire is perfect for warming up after a long walk. We come to the bull regularly, especially for Sunday dinners, which are just what you want. The food is amazing for the price, and we're always given a warm welcome.

There’s ample parking, and the staff are helpful. It’s a lovely place to stay. If you expect to arrive or check in late, I’d recommend calling ahead to let them know.
