Nettleton Country House

We all loved our stay in the family room with our two children. Barbara was a lovely host, and her communication while booking and before we arrived was great. The house has adorable old features, and all the little touches made it feel so comforting and welcoming. We’d definitely stay again. Thank you 😊

We had a quiet, peaceful Sunday night here and loved every minute. It’s a stunning place in a wonderful location, and felt like a home from home. At £50 a night, it’s an absolute bargain. The owners’ attention to detail was second to none. The room was immaculately clean, with a cosy little sofa nook that was perfect for reading or having the provided tea, coffee and biscuits. The bed was comfortable and we slept peacefully. Plenty of clean towels were provided, along with a small packet of sweets beside the bed. I also loved the cute little mini fridge with its tiny pot of milk. I’d never seen one before and want one! The only slight issue was the very poor internet and TV signal. Breakfast was self-catered in a little breakfast room, with toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, OJ, cereal, tea and coffee, all nicely prepared in advance. We’d definitely consider staying again.

I booked this lovely family run guest house at the last minute as an overnight stop for a weekend meeting about historical motorsport at nearby Cadwell Park Circuit. We got a warm, informative welcome explaining everything about our stay. Our twin room was ample, with some thoughtful touches, including a little milk fridge I’ve never seen anywhere else. There was a good continental breakfast selection in a lovely room, and I loved the teddy bear calendar. Nothing was too much trouble. They even refroze a cool pack for our cool box the next day. Our stay ran like clockwork, and I’d definitely stay again. Thank you.

We didn’t see the host until we were leaving, but she’d emailed detailed instructions, so we felt looked after. The room was great, there was ample parking, and the self-service continental breakfast worked a treat. Lovely B&B. We’d definitely recommend it and hope to visit again soon!
