We had dinner here and enjoyed the choice of meals and drinks, especially sitting outside in the pleasant seating area. The staff were warm and welcoming, and parking was available. Our room was clean and comfortable, though it got a little warm and we wished there had been a small fan. The area was quiet enough to leave the windows open. We stayed one night before the Skomer Island Landing cruise, just a 10 minute drive away.

The scampi really hit the spot, and the beer-battered fish and chips were just right. There was a great choice of beers as well, served by attentive, friendly staff. Thanks for making our time here so pleasant.

There was a nice side salad, but it came without dressing, and the cheeseburger had two slices of ice-cold cheddar and needed seasoning. The salt and pepper chips were browned and crisp, but stone cold and inedible. Many dishes were unavailable, and the basic pub food still wasn't done well. The Lobster Pot was freezing despite having a fire available to light, so the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. It's a shame, since the food could be reasonable with more attention to detail.

I only stopped for a drink, not food. It looked like a nice pub, but the cola wasn't real Coca-Cola and I didn't enjoy it much. It was a bit like Asda cola.

The customer service was fantastic, and the place had a cosy atmosphere. Lovely stay, warm welcome and excellent food. Highly recommend.
