Breakfast was delicious, and I’d especially recommend the blueberry pancakes or the porridge with double cream and brown sugar. Damian and Adrian were wonderful hosts, always ready to help. My room was spotless and comfortable, and the little touches around Glendon B&B made it feel cosy and welcoming. The autumn decorations were especially lovely. It’s also well placed, just a short walk from central Matlock. We had a brilliant stay.

Friends of ours from Sheffield had stayed here and recommended it, so we gave this lovely B&B a try. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with really comfortable beds and bedding, and breakfast was delicious. What more can I say? It was perfect.

The location was perfect, and we had a fabulous stay. Everything from the cleanliness and decor to the thoughtful bedroom touches and range at breakfast was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

We came back to Glendon Guest House for a second visit, six years after the first, and found everything just as we remembered. Adrian and Damian are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are bright, airy and very clean, with high-standard decor. The beds are the most comfortable we’ve found, and breakfast was amazing, with fresh, high-quality food and plenty of choice for vegetarians and meat eaters. A lovely guest house in a great spot for exploring the Peak District.

Parking on site and a handy spot for exploring all parts of the Peak District. What a gem. The accommodation was wonderful, the food superb, and Adrian and Damien were incredibly hospitable. Amanda was lovely too, serving breakfast and keeping everything clean. I enjoyed it so much that I’ve booked a week for next year.
