The attention to detail is amazing. Everything felt welcoming and very comfortable, and the facilities were excellent.

The walk into Matlock was short, and the property itself is nicely designed. But the bathroom door didn't work, and cleanliness needed attention: clothes from previous visitors were left under the bed. The owner was the main problem for us. Her long messages picked apart every little thing in a condescending, arrogant way, which we found amusing until we met her. In person she was rude, aggressive and argumentative. I've never felt I had to write a review like this before, but I always read them before booking and wanted to warn others. If you're after a relaxing break, this may not be the place.

The location was good, though there wasn't any WiFi and the room felt rather crowded with furniture.
