That Sunday lunch was amazing, and the singer made the restaurant feel lovely. The night before, we had an outstanding meal, especially the seabass, which was the best I've ever had. Service was second to none, the staff couldn't do enough for us. Our room was clean and modern, and we had an amazing stay last weekend. The manager also showed us the venue's other two bars. The cocktail bar and sports bar are both really nice. There's lots to keep you entertained and something for everyone. We'll definitely be back.

We had afternoon tea on Saturday 24 January, upstairs with a lovely view over the pool and countryside. The staff were so pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The cakes were delightful, and the scone was light and fluffy. It came with proper jam and clotted cream, which really does make a difference. The sandwiches were soft with just the right amount of filling. Roast beef was my favourite, though I could've done with a little more horseradish. I'd highly recommend a visit.

The hotel itself is good, but the pool rules for babies left my partner and me really unhappy. Babies can only use the pool from 8-10am and 3-5pm, which is ridiculous, especially when a baby isn't taking up the whole pool. It was hard to relax and enjoy swimming with our baby, particularly as we'd travelled from another city. Our baby had fallen asleep, but a staff member told us to leave. We asked if we could stay until the baby woke, and he refused. With those restricted hours for children and babies, it doesn't feel properly kid friendly, and it's not a cheap hotel either.

The kitchen was covered in ants when we woke up, across the counters and up the walls. They'd also got into the food we'd brought, so that had to go in the bin. I cleaned up what I could. Everything else had that instant wow factor: the location, cabins, restaurant and facilities were beautiful, clean and smelled amazing. We ate in the sports bar and enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the great staff. We met Linda, who was lovely and so helpful. Breakfast the next morning was just as good, with amazing service and food. Linda was honestly the nicest, most helpful person we'd met on a weekend away. She couldn't do enough for us, always smiling, and had a professional but personal touch. Thank you, Linda.

We had such an amazing time at Marian Resort in north wales. The log cabin was spotless, with a great layout, crisp clean bedding and fluffy white towels. A huge thanks to Lewis in the restaurant for his wonderful hospitality and for going above and beyond. He's a real asset to the company. Thanks as well to Jordon in the sports bar. The staff here are fantastic and the service is first class. We'd highly recommend the resort and can't wait to come back. See you soon, Lewis and Jordon, and the lovely ladies in the restaurant. Love, Suzanne, Charlotte and Reenie, Burrowers.
