The rooms are a good size, the beds are gorgeous, and the showers are nice. The cottage itself is lovely, and the town is absolutely lovely too. With the town centre just around the corner, the location is ideal. A washing machine and more hanging space would be useful.

We spent a couple of nights here with friends for a walking weekend. From the outside you wouldn’t guess how spacious the cottage is. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

The North Yorkshire Moors National Park is ideally close, with the coast and countryside right on the doorstep. We loved our long weekend here.

The location is the best part. The rear parking area is awkward, narrow and poorly kept, with weeds brushing the underside of the car. There’s no protection for the parking space from the tree above it, where lots of birds leave droppings on the car. The kitchenware is sparse too. There’s a lot that could be improved.
