Our group of eight, including two children, had a perfect weekend at Herdwicks. Sue and Many were so friendly, and the house was spotless, beautifully equipped, and spacious, with plenty of room in the bedrooms and patio area. Everyone loved the pizza oven. The birthday card for my mam and partner, along with the cava and Lindt chocolates, was such a thoughtful touch. We made lovely memories and are definitely planning to come back next year. The one snag was that people from the caravan park kept trying to come in, thinking it was a bar. A sign saying it’s for private parties might help. All eight of us give it 10 out of 10.

So clean and elegant, yet warm and cosy. I’m a very happy guest and would happily stay here forever. Thank you!

Back for my second stay, and it was amazing again. The setting is beautiful, and the accommodation feels luxurious.
