The courtyard is lovely and the interior is fabulous. It’s right on the High Street, yet still quiet and peaceful. Kelly and Jo were so friendly, with fantastic customer service, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They helped us with a smile throughout our family meal for five. All the food arrived hot, and even my picky three-year-old ate the whole meal. My husband loves steak and said his fillet was perfection, one of the best he’s ever had 🥰 We’ll definitely be back. Thank you.

We were so disappointed. The room was small and hot, with no fan, stained carpet, damp coming through in the bathroom, and bottle tops under the bed. The room smelled damp too, and the air freshener they used was horrible. We hadn’t been told there’d be music until midnight, then people were packing up the band’s equipment behind our room until one. Before six, the market was setting up and people were shouting. I’d just finished chemotherapy, and this was meant to be our first night away in over a year. We just wanted to come home, so we left at seven in the morning and didn’t stay for breakfast.

The room was a good size and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The bar area is nice, though it gets a little crowded. The location is great for nearby restaurants.

I stayed for one night. It was an okay hotel, and the decor was a little dated, but I had no issues with it.

We celebrated my daughter’s wedding there. What a wonderful day, and the staff were wonderful and well organised.
