The staff were lovely, and Jamie deserves a shout out, but the stay had several issues. There was hair on the bedding when we checked the room, no bottle opener, and the shower leaked into the toilet. I also got locked in the toilet because the ball latch was so stiff I couldn't open the door. We were on the second floor and had a long walk to the lift with our luggage. Breakfast was included, but I'd rate it 1 out of 5. It was only just edible.

The room was modern, spotless, and very quiet, and breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of fresh, high-quality food. What made our Valentine's Day stay especially memorable was arriving to find rose petals arranged on the bed. It was such a thoughtful, romantic gesture and made us feel special straight away. Thanks to the staff for their hospitality and for making the celebration so memorable. We'll definitely return.

The pillows were all lumpy, the one drawback in the room. Otherwise it's a brilliant place to stay, with a great location, a great hotel, fantastic staff, and delicious breakfast.

Shirley at main reception was amazing and friendly, and so were the other staff. After a very long day, they helped us get a great night's sleep, and even sorted us out with a toothbrush. The breakfast had lots of choice and was great, although the coffee machine wasn't working. The staff work tirelessly to help, and that machine was out of their hands. Thanks for an amazing stay. We'll definitely visit again.

The room and facilities were clean and comfortable, and I had a nice stay. Having buffet breakfast included is a nice touch, though it can feel every person for themselves. I saw someone guarding the toaster like a rugby player because they apparently needed eight slices. Next time, if we stay again, I'll try to get breakfast early before the rush and people breathing down my neck. That won't put me off coming back if needed.
