Premier Inn Milton Keynes Central - Avebury Boulevard

That ninth-floor view was the highlight of a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious, well presented and comfortable, and the bed gave me a great night’s sleep. The restaurant downstairs served excellent food that felt very fresh and clean. Service was good, though the staff could have been a bit more welcoming. Breakfast needs work: there wasn’t much choice of juice or pastries, and the bacon was undercooked and not very good. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as I expected. The shower pressure was decent but lacked the strong, enjoyable flow you’d expect in a higher-end hotel. A few things could improve, but I had a good stay.

Every time I’ve stayed here, I’ve had really good service. Reception staff are consistently friendly, polite and professional. Kay on the night shift is lovely and funny. The breakfast restaurant staff were nice too, and the food is to a high standard. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

The powerful shower and clean, roomy bedroom were both good, and I had a really quiet night. The price was reasonable and the hotel is close to the town centre. One irritation: the air conditioning won’t go below 19°C and the windows don’t open, though reception can set it to cooling only. If you’re parking, use the red bays just up from the hotel.

Carolina and Paul were brilliant and did everything they could to help us. Carolina even managed to shape our lip liner, what a woman! We love you guys and will be back asking for a pencil sharpener, you know what we mean. Thank you, we love you!
