A really enjoyable stay, with friendly, polite and helpful staff. The location is great, and the home-cooked food was lovely and very reasonably priced.

Breakfast was top notch, and everything was clean. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. It was freezing until I noticed someone had left the window vents open. I could still hear my wife snoring, so there’s no soundproofing! Loved it and would definitely come back.

I’d come down from Leeds for work and booked here last minute after another hotel let us down. The staff were amazing and made us feel welcome, and the room was clean and comfortable. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

The rooms were smart, tidy and just right for our stay, and there’s parking at the rear. Breakfast was great, and the staff at The Swan Hotel were lovely and friendly. We had a great experience and would definitely stay again.

It’s not the fanciest place to stay, but it is clean. You’ll need to bring your own shower products, as they aren’t provided. The staff are as nice as you’ll find anywhere, and the food is good and really cheap. I loved it and will be back.
