We really didn’t want to leave. The place was spotless and comfortable, with everything we could need. It’s ideal for a family or a group of friends, with comfy beds, a peaceful area and stunning views. Tracey and Simon were fabulous hosts. They even saved the day by lending my husband a pair of cuff links for his shirt. This place is an absolute gem!
The children had a brilliant time here. Our six-year-old got to help feed and muck out the farm animals, and our four-year-old loved splashing around in the stream at the bottom of the hill. The hosts were really friendly, and the area is beautiful. Stable Cottage was lovely, with very comfortable beds and thoughtful touches like fresh daffodils and a chocolate cake waiting in the kitchen. We had a great stay.
A great place for a dog-friendly break, with lovely walks right from the door in the middle of Exmoor. The cottage is beautiful and sits in a superb spot. Tracey and Simon are charming hosts. We loved it and will be back.
Wonderful views, lovely rooms, and a really nice cottage to bring the dogs. There are places of interest close by too. We’d happily come again.
