Leslie and Mike made us feel right at home, and were happy to suggest places to visit when we needed ideas. We spent a week there for our anniversary, and the bed and breakfast was just what we wanted: spacious rooms and a really good bed. I'd happily recommend it.

Room 5 was roomy, with a large bathroom, and both were absolutely spotless. Mike and Lesley clearly care a lot about their hotel. We got a warm welcome, and even found welshcakes in the room. Breakfast was continental, and nothing felt like too much trouble. We'd definitely stay again and recommend it.

Mike was the highlight for us. He knows the local area inside out and had plenty of recommendations, while making sure we were comfortable throughout. The B&B is close to the beach, run by a lovely couple, and our spacious room and bathroom were clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was plentiful, with cereals, yogurts, juices and a good range of cooked options. They also asked about allergies and food preferences at check-in so they could cater for us. Many thanks.

July 2024. We needed a last-minute booking for my mum and me, and Mike & Leslie were able to fit us in. This was my second stay at The Colbourn, and we had the bright, spacious twin room, which was spotlessly clean. The continental breakfast was nicely laid out with plenty to choose from. Mike & Leslie are welcoming, passionate professionals. I hope to book again soon. I wouldn't go anywhere else now, and highly recommend The Colbourn to anyone staying in Colwyn Bay.

Breakfast was very good, and the soft background music made a nice little extra. Our room was warm and cosy on a chilly night, with lovely decor and a very comfortable bed. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the hosts greeted us warmly. It's a lovely B&B just off the seafront. I can't think of anything negative and would have no hesitation recommending it.
