The people running the place were really helpful, even getting a cot and high chair ready for our 16-month-old son. We spent a week at The Ash with him and my wife, and found the house spotless and peaceful. The beds were big and comfy, the kitchen was nice, and the showers were great. We also loved having a private LED-lit hot tub. Chester, the zoo, Blue Planet and Chester Oaks were all about 10 minutes away. We'd happily come back and recommend it.

We picked this place for an overnight stay before our son's first birthday trip to Chester Zoo, about a 10-minute drive away. Cheshire Oaks was even closer for dinner, and getting there was easy, just off the M56. The office called on the morning we arrived to confirm our last-minute booking, which was a thoughtful touch. The housekeeper was great and the rooms were very clean. Beds were super comfortable, and it was nice and quiet at night. We'd definitely stay again and recommend it.

Even with a last-minute booking, I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely room and how good the value was. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and there are plenty of local shopping spots around Chester not far away. Had a lovely stay.

A lovely stay, and the garage and amazing Wheatsheaf pub are just down the road. We'll be back.

The easy check-in and checkout made everything straightforward, and the room was lovely, clean and fresh. We were visiting family for a night and were really pleased with everything. Even our two dogs, who don't usually settle and relax, felt at ease here. It's easy to find and get around from, and we'd love to stay again soon. Would definitely recommend.
