We felt uncomfortable throughout our five-night stay. My partner ended up in tears halfway through, and we often left early in the morning and returned late because we didn’t feel at ease staying there during the day. The area seemed run-down, with broken windows and people fighting at night, and there were a lot of drunks around. The owners complained every day about things like our child crying too loudly or a window being open. We also felt our privacy was repeatedly invaded, with staff going through our belongings. The room had dead insects and a broken fold-out bed. At one point, the owners demanded more money for the stay even though we had booked and paid before arriving. I’d avoid it. Even a Travelodge would be a big improvement.

A perfect spot for exploring the area, with free on-street parking as an added bonus. The place was very clean, and everyone was friendly. I’m looking forward to coming back.

The breakfast was well cooked, arrived on time, and set me up nicely for the day. One letdown was that some details in the room guidebook were out of date, though the information at reception was current. I stayed one night to break up a longer drive north. The staff were friendly and attentive when I arrived, and knew the local area well. My single room was clean, the sprung mattress was comfortable, and the en-suite facilities all worked. For a 3 Star hotel, creaky floorboards and uninsulated plasterboard walls seem acceptable to me. There may be some noise from a nearby pub, but it doesn’t carry on all night. It’s a short walk to the seafront and several places to eat, including takeaways. Parking is free on the road, though you might not find a space right outside. The entrance is easy to spot, and staff can help with luggage if needed. I’d recommend staying here and would consider coming back when I’m next in the area.

We had a great stay on Saturday night, 22nd of February. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and the promenade is only two minutes away. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed breakfast. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Stacey and Christopher x

My single room at the top of the hotel was clean, tidy and just right for one night. There are lots of stairs, so be ready for that. The bed was comfortable, the room was warm, and the shower had good pressure even up there. It was quiet, and I had a fantastic night’s sleep, though I can’t comment on the thin walls people mention. A lovely welcoming lady let me in late in the afternoon, and checking in at the little desk was quick and easy. The host showed me where everything was, then left me to unpack. I had to leave early, so I didn’t try breakfast. I’d happily stay longer next time I’m in Morecambe, and would definitely recommend the hotel. Many thanks.
