I could make a cuppa in the kitchen whenever I wanted, which made the place feel even more like home. Newminster Cottage was cosy and luxurious at the same time, and the room was spotless and comfortable. Paul couldn't do enough to make my daughter's and my visit perfect. It's in a wonderful location, and this is the best B&B I've ever stayed in. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Newminster Cottage and Paul for a break in delightful Morpeth. Tip-top.

Three days was far too short. We had a great stay, from breakfast through to a good night's sleep, and would highly recommend it. Paul is always enthusiastic and has lots of really good tips for walks, places to visit, dinner and all sorts of useful things to know.

We always stay at Newminster cottage when we head north, and wouldn't choose anywhere else. It's the best B&B in beautiful Morpeth, in a perfect spot right opposite the idyllic river Wansbeck. Paul is a fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable host who knows the best places to see and eat. Breakfast is top notch, with the best poached eggs we've had. See you on our next visit. What a lovely place, with beautiful surroundings. It was comfortable and welcoming, the breakfast was spot on, and everyone was so friendly. I really need to stay longer next time. Thank you.
