The area is gorgeous, with loads of history to explore, and the cottage itself was spotless and beautiful. It had every amenity we could need, and the host was so friendly and helpful. Outstanding all round, highly recommend! 😃

We had a brilliant three days here. The owner was quick to respond and really helpful, and the rooms were decorated beautifully around a lovely open space. Although it’s an old building, the Wi-Fi was great and Sky Glass worked perfectly. We booked this quaint old sweet shop cottage at the last minute and couldn’t have been happier. It’s right in the middle of the village, a lovely little gem. Highly recommended.

We stayed in February as a family of five and had a delightful time. Inside, the historic cottage is spacious and modern, finished to a very high standard. It was stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen equipment and games to towels and toiletries. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise, with a few food basics and delicious homemade brownies. We’d certainly come back.

We hardly needed the car, with local walks and everything close by: cafes, a supermarket, pubs serving food, takeaways, and the Baker and Cook restaurant for a special meal. The cottage was beautiful and cozy, and Jules was a lovely host who’d thought of all the little details. Great location, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The owner was so thoughtful and left tasty local treats for our arrival. The cottage was clean, roomy and comfortable, with everything provided, right in the centre of a traditional village. There’s plenty to see and do nearby. The local pub does an amazing roast dinner, and the coffee shops can sort you out with breakfast before an early start.
