Our group of 14 walkers, aged 14 to 60, arrived around lunchtime looking for snacks. They found a table big enough for all of us and made us feel very welcome. The cheesy chips and baked potatoes were amazing, and staff even brought out bowls of sauces before we had to ask. The beer was good too. We really appreciated the care and will be back.

We had a lovely stay in a clean, spacious room, with a great shower and a good-sized bathroom. Dogs are welcome in the room, bar and restaurant, and the location is right in the centre of town, with everything walkable and a great private car park. The staff were friendly, and there were good beers on tap. Dinner came to £16 for a main with a small wine or beer included, and the included breakfast was fantastic, either a full English or a make-your-own option. Great value, nothing to fault, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The homemade meal was really filling, and the meal deal included whatever drink you wanted. Nothing like McDonald's! We made a last-minute booking at The Fox, and they fitted us in with our little dog. Liz was brilliant, knew her stuff, and couldn’t have been more helpful. Great place and great food.

We were stuck in Much Wenlock by the heavy snow from Storm Goretti and couldn’t get out. The Fox found us a room at the last minute, welcomed our dog, and didn’t raise the price because of the situation. Breakfast was included, delicious, and good value. Their hospitality and sense of community really came through. Thanks so much for looking after us!

We brought a group of more than 40 for lunch after walking over from Coalbrookdale YHA. The sandwiches and chips were very tasty, and Liz and her team got everything out quickly, with plenty for everyone and good humour at the bar and in the restaurant. A five-star experience, thanks so much!
