The room and the whole facility were very clean, and communication with the owners was good. Check-in was self-service and simple. We spent two nights here on our Scotland trip and liked being in a smaller town. The building was an old bank converted into rooms. Our room was near the main road and opposite the co-op, so we heard a lot of traffic and people talking. I'm a light sleeper, and it may bother others like me too.

The self check-in worked perfectly, and we had a very comfortable night. We booked a family room expecting one room, but got a mini apartment: twin room, double room and shower room, all self-contained. There was a huge comfy bed, lovely side tables, a microwave, tea and coffee, plus plates, bowls and cutlery. Everything looked new and was in lovely clean condition. I liked how the place reflects the local area: the panoramic wall pictures showed Scottish scenery, with notes saying where each was taken, and the mugs and tea tray featured Highland cattle. Great to see that support for the area. We hope the owners keep it up and guests look after the place, because we'd definitely stay again when we're nearby. Please don't let it get run down!

We stayed at the hotel from 6/7 to 9/7, and it was extremely clean, both the room and the rest of the hotel. The bed and shower were very good after long days exploring the region. We met Monica, sorry if I've misspelled her name, and she was always friendly and helpful. Thank you, Monica!

We loved the hidden bedroom behind the bank safe door. This converted former Bank house is good value for a self-catering stay, with a convenient location and high standards of comfort, equipment and furnishings. Being close to a main route made it a bit noisy, and the entrance door was slightly tricky to operate.

A huge comfortable bed, a good-sized bathroom and shower, and a clean, tidy, spacious room. There was a kettle with tea and coffee making kit, plus a microwave and some plates. The price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely visit again.
