We spotted rabbits morning and evening, saw the nearby horses and sheep, and even caught sight of Red Kites while taking in the gorgeous mountain views towards Loch Ness. The sunsets were beautiful and the whole place felt atmospheric. The cottage is cosy, lovely, and extremely clean. At night it’s pitch black and completely quiet, great for a good sleep. It’s well equipped and then some, with complimentary biscuits. Kate had also left milk and food provisions, which we hadn’t expected but really appreciated. The owners are just across the yard if you need anything, and there are horses beside the cottage that you can visit and feed. I checked with Kate before bringing them carrots. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and got settled straight away. What a fantastic cottage, location, and owners. None of us wanted to leave, and we’d definitely return. Thank you ❤️
