You feel welcome as soon as you come through the door, and the atmosphere is lovely. The portions are very generous and the prices fair, with plenty of delicious choices on an excellent menu. The staff are friendly, polite and provide top-notch service. We’ve eaten here and thought it was wonderful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the restaurant.

The restaurant downstairs is excellent Italian, and the staff were very friendly. Our room and bathroom were large and clean, and having safe, private parking was a real plus. I’d recommend it to anyone travelling by motorbike. The busy main road through town works well if you’re stopping overnight on a journey, though I wouldn’t choose this location for a longer stay.

The owner is so friendly, and the Italian restaurant is well worth a visit. The food is gorgeous, really good quality, and the portions are large. If I lived locally, I’d make it my regular place. Can’t wait to go back. 😁

After three busy days in Edinburgh, my family needed a slower pace, and the Aurora was just right in this relaxing, safe seaside village. The English woman and Italian man who own and run it made us feel like we were visiting relatives. Our room and bathroom were very clean, and we’ll never forget the warm welcome and exquisite dinner. If you enjoy good food and conversation, don’t hesitate to book. It was exactly the stay we needed.

My wife and I stopped at the restaurant a week ago while touring, and we’re from the US. Everyone was very friendly, which made the meal that much nicer. The service, food quality and portions were excellent. The restaurant was fantastic!
