Had a lovely, relaxing couple of days and will definitely come back. The host was helpful and very pleasant. The bedroom and en-suite were spacious and clean, and breakfast was an excellent full English. There’s free WiFi too, and the gardens and lakes are beautiful and peaceful.

This two-room B&B seemed to be run by one bloke, as far as I could tell. It was clean and quiet, but also handy for the York park and ride. The bed was very comfortable, and the rooms were clean and well maintained. Good full English, with plenty of cereal and toast available too. I’d happily return.

The lake views and wildlife were beautiful, and our bed at The Willows was comfortable. Our host was friendly and attentive, with useful advice about the area. Breakfast was tasty, and the double-yolk eggs kept us full for the rest of the day. We were asked to take off our shoes, and that was fine with us since it’s someone’s home and we were guests. I always bring slippers anyway. We also ate on the landing, which had lovely views and gave both us and the family some privacy. We weren’t in their space, or they in ours. We’ve already recommended The Willows and will be back. Thank you.

The room was comfortable and pleasant, with a small lounge area. Our host was excellent, and so was breakfast. I wish I’d brought my fishing gear, the lake looks great.

A charming, comfortable place with a great breakfast. Paul was friendly and great to deal with. I hope to stay again soon, and will recommend it to family and friends.
