The staff were so warm and friendly, and the place was clean and comfy. We spent one night here for a friend’s birthday and had a great stay. I’d happily recommend it.

The spot was great for heading out on a walk across the wolds, and the sea was only a reasonable drive away. Jo and the Team were really friendly and accommodating. We booked at the last minute and were glad we did. The place felt cosy, with decking that was just right for sitting with a book. My only personal preference would be fluffier pillows. Thanks, Jo and the Team, for a great stay ☺️.

The only real drawback for us was that the evening sun didn’t reach the veranda. The cabins are arranged with plenty of privacy, which is nice, but that seems to be the trade-off. A barbecue would’ve been handy, or even something to lift disposable ones off the grass. We stayed two nights on a motorbike trip with my wife, and the cabins were clean, cosy, and had everything we needed. The staff at the Salutation were friendly and efficient too. Apart from that, we had a very good stay.

We stayed in the family Snugzz with our children, aged 3 and 6, and found it clean and comfortable, with a great shower. It was a new kind of stay for us, a bit like glamping but without the pretension. There’s no breakfast included, though they supply porridge tubs, milk, bottled water, tea, and coffee. There’s a small fridge, and we brought our camping fridge as well. Dunn Deal, the lovely village tea shop, does breakfast and lunch. The Sali has food at very reasonable prices, and they’re happy to sell take-out wine bottles for supermarket prices. It made a great base for exploring the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. We’d definitely recommend it and will be back.

The huts are snug and cosy. The pub food is good, and the staff are really friendly.
