There was plenty of off-road parking, and Sue's full English was one of the best breakfasts I've had in ages. I stayed recently for an event at the Newark showground and am so glad I did. Sue was incredibly friendly and helpful, and my room was spacious, warm, clean, and well appointed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. I know where I'll stay next time I'm at the showground. Thanks again, Sue.

Breakfast was fantastic, with a full English and cereals available, and even the other guests were nice! We had a lovely stay at Willow Trees cottages in twin room 3. The room had a kettle, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, plus touch lamps on the bedside tables. Parking was available too.

After a long day of travel, this was a great place to stay overnight. The service was excellent, and so was breakfast.

The landlady was really friendly, and we'd stay again. We were moving our son into his house in Balderton. We arrived late, but it wasn't a problem at all. The people were very nice, breakfast was very good, and the bed was lovely and comfy. We stayed in room 7, which has both a shower and a bath, just heavenly after a long day.

I went for a walk nearby and found lovely views and country walks. Newark is great too. We tried a bar called Oscar's inn, which did amazing pizzas. We were staying at Willow Tree for a wedding at the nearby golf club, and I'd definitely book Willow Tree cottages again if I came back to the area. There's a pub/restaurant next door, but it only opens in the evening. Otherwise, you'll need transport to get to bars or restaurants.
