We only stayed one night, and we won't return. Our check-in was at 3 pm, but nobody was there to greet us. After a few calls, a woman finally explained over the phone how to get in and find the flat. Once inside, it was obvious no one had cleaned: the kitchen was a mess, the bathroom dirty, and the bedroom absolutely disgusting. We decided to try to sort it out and called the manager, but he was rude and completely unhelpful. He said we could stay or leave, but he wouldn't refund anything. After waiting an hour, two cleaners arrived and took photos of the state of the apartment. An absolute disgrace.

The location is good, but that's about it. We arrived at 3 pm, our check-in time, and the apartment hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests. The beds were dirty and broken, with the springs completely gone. The shower tray filled up, so there must have been a blockage. The oven was dirty, and the sofa was filthy underneath the cushions. It only gets a surface clean. We had to buy our own bedding and sleep on the sofa. When I asked the manager for a refund because the room wasn't acceptable, he was rude and sent me a lot of messages that felt like bullying. The apartment isn't up to standard, and Newcastle has much better places. Save your money and stay elsewhere.
