The free parking was handy, just remember to enter your registration when you check in. For the room rate, the grab-and-go breakfast was nice too. A good hotel for the price.

The one good thing was how close it is to the town centre. The room itself was nothing like the photos, and some staff were seriously lacking in hospitality. We came with a group booking where several people were meant to share rooms. Ours had one double bed and a pull-out sofa bed, which could have worked, except the sofa bed was dirty, flimsy and had no bedding. When I asked for sheets, I was told they would cost an extra £20. The staff member in the morning was friendly.

The takeaway breakfast was tasty and convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our superior room was clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed. Some of the furniture is older, but it still works fine. A very good budget stay.

The breakfast bag gave us plenty to get going: an apple, croissant, nut and seed bar, yoghurt and fruit juice. We stayed four nights and would choose this place again if we return. It's an easy walk to the town centre, and the rooms were clean and roomy enough for the price. It isn't the Ritz, but it's very reasonably priced.
